Itinerary

This full-day Machu Picchu tour is an intensive experience covering major transfers and the visit to the citadel:

Hotel Pick-up and Transfer to Train Station: Very early in the morning (approx. 3:00 AM - 4:00 AM), we will pick you up from your hotel in Cusco to transfer you to Ollantaytambo or Poroy train station.
Train Journey to Aguas Calientes: Enjoy a picturesque train ride through the Sacred Valley to Aguas Calientes (Machu Picchu Town), the base town for the citadel.
Bus to Machu Picchu: From Aguas Calientes, we will take a panoramic bus that will take us on a 25-minute ascent to the entrance of the Machu Picchu citadel.
Guided Tour of Machu Picchu: We will have a guided tour of approximately 2 to 2.5 hours through the most important points of the citadel, including the Temple of the Sun, the Temple of the Three Windows, the Intihuatana, the Main Plaza, among others.
Free Time in Machu Picchu: You will have some free time to explore on your own, take photos, and absorb the energy of the place (according to entrance ticket regulations).
Return to Aguas Calientes and Lunch: We will take the bus back to Aguas Calientes, where you can have lunch (not included) and explore the town.
Return Train Journey and Transfer to Cusco: We will board the train back to Ollantaytambo or Poroy station, where our transport will be waiting to take you back to your hotel in Cusco. Approximate arrival between 8:00 PM - 10:00 PM.
